Our quality starts with root selection. We use hand selected, premium Beverage Grade Vanuatu Borogu Lateral roots to make our Kava extracts, not leftover scraps peelings and chips or undesirable cultivars such as “Tudei” or “Waeld” Kavas. Our Kava is then thoroughly washed and hand peeled in a state of the art facility before being air dried indoors, rather than being exposed to the elements to be sun dried. Air drying preserves the Kavalactones while the UV rays and heat from the sun degrades them.
Our proprietary processing technology achieves full spectrum potency like no other method on the market today. Even if quality roots are used as starting material, improper solvent selection, temperature, and extraction time, can drastically change the quality, and even safety profile of Kava. Quality through lab testing. Each batch of Polynesian Gold® extracts are rigorously tested and must meet extremely strict quality controls before the Polynesian Gold brand name is bestowed upon the product. We test our materials for microbiological, heavy metals, pesticides, as well as Kavalactone content. Not only do we test the total kavalactone content, but we test each individual Kavalactone to ensure that the chemical profile of our extract is of a desirable Beverage Grade chemotype. "I love the effects of this Kava. It is very calming. It melts away my anxiety and stress. It also knocks back my appetite 100%, so I don't stress eat. It tastes terrible and makes my mouth number, however. It is kind of bitter. Plus, it isn't very water soluble. It floats on top of cold drinks and sticks to my spoon and frother. I have better luck mixing this in warm beverages with a little cream or fat. Overall, I am satisfied with this product and will probably buy it again, because the effects on mood and appetite control are amazing."

"Polynesian gold is my go-to for kava concentrates. The powder can easily be dissolved in water with a food processor. One thing I’d suggest is to scale out 1 gram of powder rather than go by 1/8 teaspoon… 1 gram of powder ended being more like 3/8 - 1/2 of a teaspoon. Enjoy!"
