We take great pride in being able to provide our customers with the highest quality Kava root from Island nations such as Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Hawaii and Samoa. To achieve this, our Kava undergoes strict quality controls through every step of the process from cutting to powder. Our quality controls start with us going to the South Pacific regularly and meeting our kava farmers face to face to discus our requirements. Developing personal relationships with our farmers allows us an insight into our products that other vendors simply don't have. We pay our farmers top dollar and only buy their best A-grade crops, always in whole root form. Buying Kava in whole root form affords us the ability to freshly grind your kava before packaging it in air tight bags in our cleanroom to preserve the freshness and potency that would otherwise be impossible to find outside of the islands.

We're proud to bring our customers another industry 1st - We're bringing fresh green Fijian kava to the US! While we've long been supporting Hawaiian Farmers and shipping our customers Single Cultivar Fresh Frozen Hawaiian Kava since 2016, we're bringing in commercial quantities of Fijian Kava as well! As part of our ongoing sustainable sourcing efforts, we’ve partnered with sustainable farms in Fiji and cGMP, HACCP certified, FDA registered processing facilities to bring you very high quality FRESH frozen Fijian Kava.
Our Kava is harvested weekly and brought to our processing facility where it is rigorously cleaned, sanitized, processed and blast frozen for shipping. The entire process from harvest to freezing occurs in less than 4 hours. It simply doesn't get any better than this folks. If you have ever had the pleasure of drinking a shell of our Fresh Frozen Hawaiian kava, either at one of our own Root of Happiness Kava Bars, or one of hundreds of Kava establishments that serve Root of Happiness Brand Kava, you know that there's no substitute for Green Kava taste and potency.
