Return & Exchange Policy
We strive to provide the very best kava on the planet. From building our own fully GMP compliant facility specifically tailored for processing kava, to our in house analytical laboratory that tests each batch of our products as well as other commercially available brands, we can confidently say that we have some of the highest quality kava products available anywhere.
If you are not satisfied with the Kava you've received, you may return the remainder of the product to us for a refund or exchange equal to the amount of the unused product, minus shipping, within 30 days of receipt of your order. Please contact us at Support@rootofhappiness.com to initiate a return. Please note that if you purchased a Root of Happiness product from a retailer or other vendor and are not satisfied, you MUST return the product to your place of purchase.
Multiple unit refunds: Please note that if you purchase multiple units of a product and are not satisfied, we will refund the cost of one opened unit/container and any remaining unopened units/containers.
Please enclose a copy of your order receipt, with instructions noting whether you would like a return or an exchange, as outlined on the back of your printed order receipt. Returned items should be returned in their original product packaging. When requesting an exchange, please make sure to note the desired exchange item(s).
Please send your return information and merchandise to the name and address below. You are strongly encouraged to utilize a shipping service with tracking capability.

The original shipping fees are non-refundable, and the cost incurred on your return shipment is at your expense. However, the cost of shipping exchange items back to you will be covered by Root of Happiness.
Receiving a Refund
The time required for you to receive a refund will depend on the following factors:
- 1 to 10 business days for us to receive the return shipment from your shipper.
- 1 to 3 business days for us to process your return.
- 3 to 10 business days for your bank or credit card company to process the refund request.
Please note: If customs refuses delivery of your package and returns it to Root of Happiness, we will apply a credit for the dollar amount of the product returned to us. Shipping charges are non-refundable and won't be credited to your account. We appreciate your understanding.
