Our Kava Bar Davis location is a true tribute to kava drinking culture
It is beautifully decorated as a traditional Vanuatu Nakamal with rustic elements such as reclaimed barnwood, rusty tin metal, tiki statues, and Edison light bulbs. A 15’w X 20’H Polynesian cultural mural represents Kava drinking cultures throughout the South Pacific and depicts King Kamehameha, his rival Kane, King George Tepou from Tonga, as well as many other cultures and depicts Kava’s importance to them.
Drink, Relax and Enjoy!
A large, cargo cult replica airplane is suspended from the sunset mimicking ceiling and posters of the John Frum Cargo Cult line the walls. There is an upstairs retail gallery which displays fine art and artifacts for sale from the South Pacific, including Kava Bowls, wisks, fish hooks, and South Pacific Weaponry. The Root of Happiness Kava Bar Davis location is truly the premier Kava bar in North America. If you’re in the Davis area, stop in and have a shell with us!
